Fuji Hakone Izu National Park

Fuji Hakone Izu National park is the oldest and one of the most popular national parks in Japan. Hakone is 80km west of Tokyo, 1 hour 30 minutes drive from central Tokyo. Hakone is at 700m from the sea level, and is one of the most attractive year round resorts not only for Japanese but also for foreign tourists. Izu peninsula is well known for its mild climate and many Onsen (hot springs). The features of golf courses in this region is that many of them are located and designed where overlooking world famous Mt.Fuji.

HAKONE
Playing golf in Hakone is possible throughout the year, however, Hakone is very popular summer resort because of its high atitude. We recommend you to play golf in Hakone in May,late July,August,September and October.
IZU PENINSULA
It is mild throughout the year in Izu, and you may enjoy golf there any time of the year, however, from late June to mid July is a rainy season (not much rain but many rainy days) and there is a risk of typhoon in September. The world famous Kawana Hotel Fuji Course (rated in the top 100 golf courses in the world by U.S.Golf Digest) is located in Izu Peninsula.
